Eldrew Yulo's promising start to his senior gymnastics career continues with another assured finals spot in the FIG World Cup.

Youngster Eldrew Yulo continues to prove his mettle among more experienced gymnasts as he qualified for the floor exercise final of the FIG Artistic Gymnasitcs World Cup Antalya in Turkiye on Thursday night, Manila time.

Yulo, who qualified for two finals in Baku last week, is competing alone for the Philippines in his second FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup.

The younger Yulo qualified for his pet event after finishing fourth among all gymnasts in the qualification, where he was able to earn a stick bonus for his clean execution of his routine.

He executed a less difficult routine than the top two qualifiers, but made up for it in his execution.

He garnered an execution score of 8.466 in his 5.1 difficulty routine. Yulo was then awarded a bonus of .100 to bump up his total to 13.666.

Yulo tied third place qualifier Theodor Gadderud of Norway but lagged behind in execution score to bump him down to fourth in the list.

Rayderley Zapata topped all qualifiers with a score of 13.966. He executed a more difficult routine than Yulo at 5.7, but scored lower in execution at 8.266.

Slovenia's Anze Hribar was the second qualifier with a score of 13.800.

Yulo missed the mark in pommel horse and rings, finishing 18th and 19th, respectively, in the two apparatus.

He competes in three more apparatus qualifiers -- vault, parallel bar, and horizontal bar -- on Friday evening, Manila time.

Yulo also made the horizontal bar final in Baku, but failed to clinch a podium finish in his two finals.

The younger Yulo is hoping to clinch his first medal in the FIG World Cup series where his brother Carlos is a five-time gold medalist.
