Andrew Wiggins hit the go-ahead triple as the Miami Heat held strong for a 122-120 win over NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday (PH time) at the Kaseya Center.

Down one, Wiggins hit the booming three with 32 seconds left to make it 122-120 for Miami.

The Thunder had multiple chances for an answer, but Chet Holmgren missed an alley-oop attempt from the inbounds pass in the next possession, and Alex Caruso missed a three-pointer for the win in the game’s final play.

Six Heat players were in double figures, led by 30 points and 14 rebounds from Bam Adebayo.

Norman Powell and Pelle Larsson had 19 and 16 points, respectively, while Wiggins was good for 15 points as Miami improved to 22-20.

OKC got 39 points from MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but the Thunder took a rare loss but still lead the NBA with a 35-8 mark.
