Kosuke Kanamaru ended up the winner via tiebreak after a thrilling 3-point showdown against Keisei Tominaga in the 2026 B.LEAGUE All-Star Weekend at the Happiness Arena in Nagasaki on Saturday.

Kanamaru, the former MVP who plays for the Saga Ballooners, won one-rack shootout against Tominaga after both players ended up with 19 points each in the final round.

In the other events, Chiba Jets star Yuki Togashi had a perfect run to take victory in the Skills Challenge.

Togashi smashed his competitors with a mark of 21.8 seconds — more than five seconds clear of Taiga Okada of the Kawasaki Brave Thunders.

In the dunk contest, Filipino import Francis Lopez lost the crown to his Fighting Eagles Nagoya teammate Tyrell Taku Sudo.

Lopez unleashed a 360 reverse dunk in the final round but was unable to nab the crown after Sudo got the lion’s share of the voting — which was the sole basis of the winner.

Lopez and Sudo both got 48s in the preliminary round, with defending champion Anthony Gaines Jr. getting a perfect 50 after a one-handed slam where he hung on the rim with his arm.

The 2026 B.LEAGUE All-Star weekend continues on Sunday, January 18, featuring the main game between B.Black vs B.White.
