Why so serious, Oheb?

MLBB fans have taken notice of Team Liquid PH gold laner Kiel "Oheb" Soriano’s stern look when the games matter most.

The topic resurfaced after Team Liquid PH’s win over Myanmar’s Yangon Galacticos, a result that sent the Cavalry into the knockout stage of the M7 World Championship.

For Oheb, however, the serious game face is nothing out of the ordinary.

The veteran gold laner said the expression comes from being fully locked in, with his focus centered solely on winning.

Team Liquid PH backed that mindset with results, rebounding strongly from its earlier loss to Malaysia’s Selangor Red Giants as the win also kept the team’s Golden Road hopes intact.

Along with Aurora Gaming, the two Philippine teams are still in the running to keep the country's championship streak alive.

Oheb also clarified that his intense demeanor should not be mistaken for anger toward opponents.

Instead, he said it is part of how he processes the game in real time.

So when Oheb wears that familiar game face, it is less about emotion and more about execution—a sign that The Filipino Sniper is fully dialed in when it matters most.
