Fil-Am guard Ethan Alvano scored 22 points to spark a 131-109 win for Team Brown over Team Cony at the 2026 KBL All-Star Game at the Seoul Jamsil Gymnasium on Sunday.
The former KBL MVP was the second leading scorer for Team Brown, with Alvano complementing a 47-point outburst from Nathan Knight.
Knight finished with a monster line after also grabbing 17 rebounds and dishing out nine assists, with three steals and two blocks.
Alvano, representing Wonju DB Promy, added two rebounds, four assists, and one steal for Team Brown.
SJ Belangel of the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus had seven points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals to help the Team Brown effort.
The other Filipino player who saw action in All-Star weekend was Seoul Samsung Thunders’ Justin Gutang, who finished with 10 points, three rebounds, eight assists, and four steals for Team Cony.
Changwon LG Sakers’ Carl Tamayo was supposed to be his teammate, but was unable to play due to injury.
The win marked the end of All-Star activities for the KBL after the Philippines-led Team Asia beat Team Rookie on Saturday, with Arvin Tolentino of the Seoul SK Knights being named MVP.
Alvano, Belangel, and Gutang all played in that win as well.
Earlier, Alvano also nabbed the three-point contest crown with 19 points in his final run.
