Team Lakay's Carlo "The Bull" Bumina-ang aims to return to winning form when he takes on undefeated newcomer Marcos Aurelio of Brazil at ONE Fight Night 39.

The bantamweight MMA clash unfolds over three rounds at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday, January 24.

Bumina-ang steps into the ONE Circle seeking to halt a skid after his most recent defeat.

The 31-year-old Filipino succumbed to a guillotine choke submission in round two against undefeated Elbek Alyshov at ONE Fight Night 37 this past November.

The loss aside, the Baguio product carries a strong 7-2 mark inside ONE Championship, with six finishes split between four knockouts and two submissions.

“The Bull” announced his arrival with four consecutive victories on ONE Friday Fights, defeating Reza Saedi, Denis Andreev, Ilyas Dursun, and Xie Zhipeng.

He secured his fifth straight triumph by locking in a ninja choke on Chayan Oorzhak in a second-round finish, earning a lucrative six-figure deal and a spot on the global roster.

Following a submission defeat to now ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu, the Filipino delivered consecutive opening-round TKO stoppages of Song Min Jong and Mauro Mastromarini.

Across the ring stands 21-year-old Aurelio, who carries an unblemished 8-0 record into his first ONE Championship appearance.

The young Brazilian has demonstrated versatility as a finisher, collecting stoppage victories through both striking and grappling prior to joining the promotion.
