Ethan Alvano flexed his skill with a near triple-double and the Wonju DB Promy scored an 83-76 win over the Seoul Samsung Thunders in KBL regular season action at the Jamsil Arena in Seoul on Sunday.

A former KBL MVP, Alvano went for 17 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds as Wonju racked up a fifth straight win, improving to 18-10 for the season.

Alvano’s efforts complimented a 21-point outing from Henry Ellenson. It also marked a personal milestone for Alvano, who reached 3,000 points in the KBL.

Meanwhile, Seoul’s Filipino import Justin Gutang was limited to four points, three rebounds, and three assists in 15 minutes of action.

Seoul skidded to 9-19 for the season, losing seven straight games in a row.

Elsewhere, Will Navarro’s big game of 17 points, nine rebounds, and one assist went for naught as Busan KCC Egis fell against the Anyang JKJ Red Boosters, 76-68.

Losing the last two quarters proved crucial for KCC, who have now lost four games in a row for a 16-12 slate.

Anyang, whose Filipino import Rhenz Abando played just three minutes in the win, improved to 19-10 for second place.
