The Minnesota Timberwolves took control early and cruised to a 141-115 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday (PH time) at the Capital One Arena.

It wasn’t quite the wire-to-wire victory for the Timberwolves, but they led by as many as 37 points on their way to back-to-back wins and a 23-13 record.

Anthony Edwards led the way with 35 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Four others were in double figures for Minnesota, with Julius Randle going for 22 points, and Rudy Gobert adding 18 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks.

Washington got 20 points from CJ McCollum, but the Wizards dropped to 9-25 with the loss.
