Quezon City delivered a climax to remember as it had nail-biting finishes in the sixth and final leg of the Metro Manila 10 Miler Series 2025 on Sunday at UP Diliman Grounds.

Eduard Flores and Maricar Camacho came away victorious in the 16K races, winning the race by mere one second to cap off this six-leg series around the capital.

Flores and Roy Laudit were neck and neck at the finish line. And the winner was decided in a fun way.

"The winner of this mini game crossed the finish line first and was declared the Rexona 10 Miler Champion!" posted the CN Creatives photography page.

Flores timed at 56 minutes and 19 seconds, besting Roy Laudit who had 56:20 in the men's division, while Mark Anthony Oximar was a distant third at 58:58.

Camacho, on the other hand, clocked in at one hour, nine minutes, and 19 seconds to win the women's division -- one second faster than Mea Gey Adialiaan Niñura who had 1:09:20. Jocelyn Elijeran was at third at 1:11:46.

It's a memorable conclusion in this six-race series which has Rexona as title sponsor, organized by RUNRIO.

Ritchie Estampador was the best among men in the 10K race with 33:51, ahead of Cronie Melliza (34:06) and Joel Orogan (35:03), while Decerie Encomio was the fastest among women at 41:13, with Shiekhy Heart Supremo and Jo Punay tied for second at 45:00.

Edzel Baritua also claimed the 5K crown for men with 15:12, outrunning Vincent Arvin Avestruz (15:43) and Jerssylee De Vera (16:16); while Mary Jane Pagayon got the women's tiara at 18:30, besting Shaira Mae Fantilaga (19:41) and Lezamy Sanita (22:21).

Conqueror's medals were also handed out to finishers of all six legs, while celebrity Kathryn Bernardo also joined in the fun as she finished her first 10K race.

With the success of this year's series, the 2026 edition is expanding to seven legs, with Manila, Quezon City, Makati, and Pasay now being joined by Davao City, Cagayan de Oro, and Iloilo City.

"It's just the right move for the Rexona 10 Miler to spread out its reach to the other major cities in the country and this only builds anticipation for us as we prepare for the running season next year," said RUNRIO president and CEO Rio de la Cruz.
