Savouge Aesthetics sustained its strong start, overpowering ProVolley Academy of Australia from start to finish for a dominant 25-15, 25-13, 25-19 victory in the 2025 Spikers’ Turf Invitational Conference on Saturday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

With JC Enarciso orchestrating the offense through varied combination plays, the Spin Doctors neutralized whatever advantage the tall, athletic Australian side possessed, essaying the win a day after their four-set triumph over the UST–Gameville squad and pushing the team to a 2-0 card in the round-robin six-team semifinals of the tournament organized by Sports Vision.

“Sabi ko naman sa kanila, as you can see, more combination plays ‘yung ginamit namin today. Kasi in terms of height, medyo lugi talaga kami, kaya sabi ko fast plays, combination plays – so happy naman ako sa result,” said Savouge head coach Sydney Calderon.

Still, Calderon admitted he wasn’t fully satisfied with the team’s closing set.

“Hindi ako masyadong happy sa third set. Sana mas maganda pa ‘yung ginawa namin, kaso medyo bumaba ‘yung laro ng team,” he added.

Enarciso tallied 14 excellent sets and chipped in two points, anchoring a well-balanced attack that kept ProVolley Academy guessing throughout the one-hour-and-14-minute match.

Hero Austria topscored with nine points despite playing only in the third set, while Shawie Caritativo, Mark Calado, Renzel Antonio and Daniel Nicolas contributed six points each.

Savouge hopes its two early wins in the tournament, supported by Alpha Insurance, Premiere EMS, Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things, Arena Plus, and Black Mamba, will fuel the Spin Doctors when they clash with defending champion Cignal HD Spikers at 3 p.m. on Monday.
