Rhenz Abando and the Anyang Red Boosters are back to solo first place in the KBL standings following a big win over Ulsan.
Rhenz Abando and the Anyang Red Boosters overwhelmed Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus, picking up a 76-50 win in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) on Sunday, Nov. 9.
After a slow start, the Red Boosters shifted into high gear in the second period and never looked back at the Ulsan Dongcheon Gymnasium.
Abando finished with 10 points, five rebounds, two steals, and a block for the Red Boosters, who also dominated the home team with a 21-8 fourth-quarter onslaught.
Johnny O’Bryant topscored for Anyang with 18 points with nine rebounds and two assists. The victory snapped a two-game slide as the Red Boosters regained solo first with a 9-4 win-loss record.
Ulsan dropped to 6-8 with the loss.
