The Thunder never started a season 8-0 in the Oklahoma City era — until now.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander breached the 30-point mark for the fourth-straight game, spearheading the defending champions' 126-107 romp of the Kawhi Leonard-less LA Clippers on Wednesday, November 5 (PH time).

The reigning MVP erupted for 18 markers in a pivotal third quarter when OKC outscored LA, 38–29. The Thunder took a 94–86 lead heading into the fourth after trailing by as much as 13 early.

From there, the Thunder put the pedal to the metal, igniting a 20–6 run that extended their lead to 114–92 and never looked back.

SGA ended up with 30 points, 12 assists, and three blocks while Isaiah Joe chipped in 22 markers and drilled six of OKC’s 18 threes overall.

It also marked the 80th straight game that SGA reached the 20-point mark, passing Oscar Robertson (79) for the third longest streak in league history.

On the other hand, James Harden led the Clippers with 25 points, including 22 in the first half, along with six assists and five three-pointers.

Playing without Leonard (ankle), John Collins logged 17 points off the bench as Derrick Jones Jr. had 16.
