The International Series Philippines just got even bigger.

Two-time Major champion and former world No. 1 Dustin Johnson has confirmed his participation in the highly anticipated tournament at Sta. Elena Golf Club from October 23–26, 2025.

Johnson joins an already star-studded field that includes fellow Major winners Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Charl Schwartzel, and Louis Oosthuizen, raising the stakes for what is shaping up to be one of Asia’s most exciting golf events this year.

A legendary resume

Few golfers in the modern era boast a career as decorated as Johnson’s. His crowning moments include the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont and a record-breaking victory at the 2020 Masters, where he set the tournament’s lowest score at 20-under-par.

Johnson also spent more than 130 weeks as the world’s No. 1 golfer between 2017 and 2021, the fifth-longest reign in history.

Beyond the Majors, Johnson has collected six World Golf Championships titles, finished runner-up at The Open Championship (2011) and U.S. Open (2015), and left his mark on the sport’s new era with LIV Golf.

He won the 2022 LIV Golf Invitational Boston, led 4Aces GC to the Team Championship crown, and clinched the inaugural Individual Season Championship.

This season, the 41-year-old has remained sharp with five top-10 finishes, highlighted by a third-place run in Indianapolis.

Bringing the game to new fans

For Johnson, who last played in The International Series at the 2024 PIF Saudi International, the opportunity to compete in the Philippines is as much about legacy as it is about competition.

“What I love most about the game is that it takes me to places I might never have gone otherwise, and the Philippines is one of those places,” Johnson said.

“To be able to play in front of new fans, experience a different culture, and share the excitement of world-class golf in a country that’s still discovering the sport — that’s really special for me.”

He added that the International Series aligns perfectly with his competitive goals.

“Even though the LIV Golf season is over, I still want to compete, stay sharp, and challenge myself against some of the best players out here. Playing these events keeps me fresh, keeps me hungry, and at the same time helps grow the game in parts of the world that deserve to see it up close.”

More Than Just Golf

International Series Philippines is the sixth of nine elevated events on this season’s Asian Tour schedule, offering players a direct pathway into LIV Golf through the season-long Rankings race.

Beyond the fairways, fans can expect an entertainment-packed week at Sta. Elena, including headline concerts and live music to gourmet dining and immersive fan experiences.
