Lindsey Vander Weide is back with the Petro Gazz Angels, bringing her 2022 title-winning firepower and leadership for the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
The Petro Gazz Angels are turning to a proven winner as they bring back American outside hitter Lindsey Vander Weide for the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Vander Weide left her mark on the PVL during the 2022 Reinforced Conference, where she powered the Angels to the title and bagged both the Finals MVP and Best Foreign Guest Player honors.
She was nothing short of dominant, averaging 23.38 points per game in the eliminations and 21.33 per game in the semifinals before erupting in the Finals.
In Game 1 of the title series against Cignal, she fired 34 points on 31 attacks, two blocks, and an ace, along with eight excellent digs and five excellent receptions.
She followed it up with a 19-point outing in Game 2 to complete Petro Gazz’s title run.
By the end of the tournament, Vander Weide ranked 3rd among the Best Scorers with 187 total points, while also standing out as one of the league’s most efficient servers.
Petro Gazz is looking to bounce back after a disappointing campaign in the PVL on Tour.
With Vander Weide’s return, along with Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips' return after Alas Pilipinas duties, the Angels are expected to be the top contenders once more for the Reinforced crown.
