World-class pole vaulters EJ Obiena and Austin Miller brought their high-flying energy to TVJ's Eat Bulaga following the historic first-ever Atletang Ayala World Pole Vault Challenge.
After making history at the first-ever Atletang Ayala World Pole Vault Challenge, world-class athletes EJ Obiena and Austin Miller visited TVJ’s Eat Bulaga, sharing their experiences and wowing the audience with athletic feats.

“This opportunity to compete in the Philippines showed me the love for the sport. The love for the athletes that we experience, nowhere else. And I have competed in every corner of the globe and I have never experienced the energy, the reception, the generosity, the hospitality that I have here in the Philippines,” Austin Miller said.
EJ Obiena also expressed his gratitude.
“I think may mga nanood din po, and I want to say, maraming salamat sa pagsubaybay sa laro namin. Maraming salamat sa pagsuporta. Thank you for having me and Austin.”
Miller thrilled everyone with a daring backflip, showing off his agility beyond the pole vault runway.
EJ added a glimpse into their life behind the competition with his girlfriend Caroline Joyeux.
“As much as possible, minsan po ‘yong schedule niya nasa ibang bansa po. It’s a long–distance kind of thing. She loves the country. She enjoyed our trip to Palawan.”

Watching EJ in action, Caroline Joyeux remarked, “It was the best atmosphere. That was really one of the best atmospheres. It’s really amazing to see.”
The TVJ Eat Bulaga appearance capped off a successful week following the historic pole vault challenge.
