Through qualifying events, invitations, and the local Order of Merit rankings system, Filipino golfers can now earn a spot to compete against global stars in the inaugural International Series Philippines.
More than 20 of the Philippines' rising golf stars will compete at the Asian Development Tour (ADT) Players Championship, set for Oct. 16-19 at the Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac City.
The 144-player event presents a rare opportunity for local golfers to earn a spot in the International Series Philippines, as the tournament winner will secure a place in the prestigious showcase.
If the winner is non-Filipino, the highest-placed local player will still qualify.
With a prize pool of US$100,000, the event serves as a crucial stepping stone for local players to showcase their skills on an international stage.
Miguel Tabuena is currently the only Filipino player confirmed for the International Series Philippines.

“The ADT Players Championship is a unique opportunity for Filipino golfers to compete at the highest level and secure a place in the International Series,” said International Series Head Rahul Singh.
Five additional spots will be awarded to the top players on the Philippine Golf Tour’s Order of Merit, ensuring the country’s top golfers are represented.
Additionally, presenting partner BingoPlus will offer two special invitations to homegrown players who are not otherwise qualified.
“We’re excited to see the talent in the Philippines continue to grow,” Singh added.
The International Series Philippines, scheduled for October 23–26 at Sta. Elena Golf Club, is one of nine elevated events on the Asian Tour this season.
