New Zealand clinched the top spot in Group D of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 with a dominant 118-78 win over Chinese Taipei on Sunday (PH time).

The Tall Blacks pulled away late in the first quarter and never looked back, completing a perfect 3-0 sweep to secure an outright berth in the quarterfinals.

Flynn Cameron powered the victory with 28 points, while Mojave King chipped in 22.

Chinese Taipei, which finished second in the group at 2-1, will move on to the qualification-to-the-quarterfinals phase where they will take on Jordan.

Robert Hinton led the charge for Chinese Taipei with 24 points, while his brother Adam added 16 in the loss.
