Kevin Durant is on the move again.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the two-time NBA champion is set to join the Houston Rockets in a major trade that is bound to shake up the Western Conference landscape.

The Phoenix Suns will reportedly receive Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, and five second-round selections in return.

The move marks Durant’s fifth NBA team, adding to a Hall of Fame résumé that has included stops in Seattle/Oklahoma City, Golden State, Brooklyn, and most recently, Phoenix.

He played two full seasons with the Suns after being acquired at the trade deadline in the 2022–23 campaign.

For Houston, who finished as the no. 2 seed in the West in the 2024–25 season, adding Durant signals a clear win-now push.

Meanwhile, Phoenix lands former no. 2 overall pick Jalen Green—selected by the Rockets in 2021—along with a seasoned defender in Brooks and valuable draft capital to help reshape their future.
