Gilas Pilipinas Youth head to Mongolia for the FIBA U16 Asia Cup, with hopes of qualifying for the FIBA World Cup next year.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) is sending almost the same Gilas Pilipinas Youth squad that conquered the FIBA U16 Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers to Mongolia.
Save for Chris Miranda, Gilas fields an intact team for the FIBA U16 Asia Cup in Ulaanbaatar headed by Gab delos Reyes.

Delos Reyes was adjudged MVP of the SEABA meet after the national team completed the six-game sweep in Pampanga last May.
Brian Orca will suit up in Miranda’s stead.
Also joining Delos Reyes in the Aug. 31-Sept. 7 competition are Andwele Cabanera, Jhustin Hallare, and Ethan Tan-Chi.
Rounding out the squad that looks to make the Final Four for the third time in four appearances in the continental meet are Everaigne Cruz, Travis Pascual. Prince Carino, Jhello Lumague, John Restificar, Jeremiah Antolin, and Jolo Pascual.

Another appearance in the semifinals qualifying for the FIBA U17 World Cup in Turkey next year for the Filipino dribblers.
