Isaac Go has yet to show his true value for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel after suffering an ACL injury in September last year.
Isaac Go has another motivation to return to the court for Ginebra stronger and, well, sooner.
That’s because Go wants to repay the team's trust after signing a one-year extension.

“Of course, grateful ako that they still trusted me. That they gave me a one year extension,” he said.
“And 'yun nga, they feel that I could possibly help the team. Excited to get back. Gusto ko suklian 'yung trust nila sakin.”
Since being traded from Terrafirma, Go feels like he has yet to showcase his true value for Ginebra.
He didn’t get to do that after suffering an ACL injury in a 124-102 Ginebra win over Rain or Shine in September last year.
The Ginebra big tried to contest a three-pointer by Felix Lemetti-Pangilinan atop the key when the unfortunate incident happened.
Go has been on the road to recovery since then.
There’s no timeline yet for his return, but the former Ateneo standout remains hopeful he will be able to help Ginebra sooner rather than later.
“'Di ko pa ata napakita kung ano talaga kaya ko. So that’s what I’m really excited for: to come back, reward the trust that they have, na binigay sa'kin and gave me a one year deal,” he said.
