The world’s biggest volleyball names are urging fans to pack the arenas when the FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship 2025 comes to Manila from September 12 to 28.

The 32-nation spectacle, set at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and Smart Araneta Coliseum, will feature reigning world champion Italy, Olympic gold medalist France, world No. 1 Poland, and host country Alas Pilipinas.

Japan's Ran Takahashi, a fan favorite in Manila during his Volleyball Nations League stints, led the call for support.

“We can’t wait to welcome volleyball fans from all over the world. Tickets now on sale! See you at the venues!” said the Japanese outside hitter, who will open Pool G action against Turkiye on September 13.

Iranian spiker Poriya Hossein Khanzadeh echoed the excitement.

Iran, ranked No. 13, will be in Pool A alongside Alas Pilipinas, Tunisia, and Egypt.

"I'm so happy because we’re gonna go to the Philippines for the World Championship. See you soon!"

Brazil's Ricardo Lucarelli Souza, whose squad placed third in the recent Volleyball Nations League, invited Filipino fans to witness the global showcase.

"Philippines, get ready! The world’s biggest volleyball stage is coming soon," Lucarelli declared. "Feel the passion, feel the action, and the pride in the historic moment in volleyball."

Slovenian star Rok Mozic, determined to finally bring his team to the world podium, also urged fans to be part of history.

"I would like to invite you to buy the tickets for the Men's Volleyball World Championship. It will be in September in the Philippines. See you there," said Mozic.

The tournament kicks off with Alas Pilipinas debuting against Tunisia on September 12 at the Mall of Asia Arena, followed by a first-of-its-kind opening ceremony headlined by K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR and Cebuana star Karencitta.
