Geo Chiu joins Jason Brickman, Juan Gomez De Liaño, Dalph Panopio, among others, in the PBA Season 50 Draft set on September 7.
Geo Chiu beefed up the list of PBA hopefuls as he officially threw his name into the PBA Season 50 Draft right on the deadline Friday, August 29.
The former Gilas Pilipinas slotman is among the 128 draft applicants who dream to make the premiere league in Asia.

The 6-foot-11 boasts of a wealth of experience that included a Gilas Pilipinas stint in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament with coach Tab Baldwin. The former Ateneo big also took his talents to Japan B.LEAGUE’s Division 2, playing for the Ehime Orange Vikings.
Also beating the deadline of submission of applications were Cole Micek, Jacey Cruz, Kobe Monje, John Sajonia, Daniel Mallari, Ximon Sandagon, and Shawn Umali.
Meanwhile, notably missing was Quentin Millora-Brown, who recently won the appeal with FIBA to be categorized as local for Gilas.

Earlier, prospective first rounders Jason Brickman, Juan Gomez de Liaño, LJay Gonzales, and William Gozum also joined the Draft set on September 7 at the MOA Music Hall.

The initial list is expected to be trimmed down at the end of the Draft Combine on September 4 and 5.
