Rey Remogat and the rest of Gilas Pilipinas Men made history after securing the Philippines' first stop title in 2024 FIBA 3x3 U-23 Nations League.
Rey Remogat continued his stellar play in 3x3 basketball after leading Gilas Pilipinas Men to their first-ever stop championship in the 2024 FIBA 3x3 Under-23 Nations League-Asia 2 conference on Saturday, June 15, in Handan Shi, China.
After scoring big wins over China and Japan, Gilas would go head-to-head against powerhouse Mongolia in their final game of the leg.

There, Remogat showed off his immense ball-handling and scoring talent as he led the Filipino squad to a stunning 21-12 victory over the Mongolians.
Remogat, who transferred to the University of the Philippines from the University of the East, concluded his outstanding performance by sinking the decisive shot with 3:02 left on the clock.
Remogat ended the day with 18 points, including seven against Mongolia, six against China, and five against Japan.
Gilas first defeated China, 20-17, with Patrick Sleat leading the way with six points.
Remogat and the rest of the Gilas team, which also includes Jun Roque and JM Tulabut, narrowly escaped Japan, 19-18, after the 5-foot-10 guard sank a tightly contested lay-in with 4.6 seconds remaining.
With the victory, the Philippines now holds third place with 340 points, trailing Japan by 20 points and Mongolia by 120 points in the conference standings.
