Alas Pilipinas weathered a gritty Cambodia in five sets, fanning a slim hope of taking gold in Leg 1 of the 2025 Men's SEA V.League.

The Alas Pilipinas Men put up a strong fight against Cambodia, pulling off a thrilling five-set win to improve to a 2-1 record in Leg 1 of the 2025 Men’s SEA V.League.

Alas outlasted the 2024 Challenge winners, 25-21, 25-27, 32-30, 23-25, 15-8.

Jade Disquitado scored 24 points off 21 attacks, two blocks, and an ace. Leo Ordiales pitched 22 points, while Buds Buddin added 19 attack points.
