La Salle derailed top-seeded National University, 87-77, to force a sudden death in their UAAP Season 88 men's basketball Final Four faceoff at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao Wednesday, Dec. 3.

The Green Archers used a 9-0 start to the third quarter to create some space against the twice-to-beat-armed Bulldogs, who had clawed back from a 13-point deficit in the early goings of the match.

But the Green Archers' quick response after the break helped them recover.

DLSU also limited the Bulldogs to just eight points in the third to enjoy a 13-point advantage, 67-54, heading into the final frame.

Jacob Cortez continued to rally the Green Archers, who also saw Kean Baclaan return to action following his injury and Mason Amos slowly returning to form.
