The FEU Lady Tamaraws will try to stage their first win streak of the season as they face a wounded Ateneo squad in UAAP Season 88 women's basketball.
Victoria Pasilang and the FEU Lady Tamaraws aim to end their up-and-down first round on a high note when they face the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP Season 88 women’s basketball tournament on Wednesday, October 22.
Tip off is 4 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Lady Tamaraws (3-3) have alternated between wins and losses all season long and will look to finally build momentum heading into the second round.
Pasilang was stellar in FEU’s previous victory over UE, scoring 19 points on an efficient 8-of-10 shooting clip.
Alongside Amyah Espanol and MJ Manguiat, Pasilang will once again be counted on to anchor the Lady Tamaraws’ offense against the high-powered Blue Eagles.
A win would help FEU gain ground in the tight middle pack of the standings, while a loss could push them further down in the Final Four race.
Ateneo, meanwhile, is seeking a quick rebound after falling to defending champions NU in its last outing.
