Adamson upset defending champion University of the Philippines, 62-59, burying its foe to a surprising 0-2 hole in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion in Manila Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Ray Torres drilled in the go-ahead triple to give the Falcons in the big win that sent the Fighting Maroons to their worst start since UAAP Season 79 when they lost their first three games of the season.

After failing to pull off the surprise against La Salle in its first match, AdU finally scored the stunner this time to improve its mark to 1-1.

The Falcons return to action against Ateneo Sunday, Sept. 28, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
