Fresh off back-to-back UAAP titles, NU Lady Bulldogs’ Bella Belen, Sheena Toring, and Erin Pangilinan swapped jerseys for togas as they officially capped off their collegiate journeys on and off the court.
Fresh off securing back-to-back championships in UAAP Seasons 85 and 86, NU Lady Bulldogs standouts Bella Belen, Sheena Toring, and Erin Pangilinan closed out their college careers by marching in graduation—proving once again what it means to be student-athletes in every sense.
Three-time UAAP MVP Bella Belen shared her graduation photo with a hopeful message: “better days ahead 🎓.”
The milestone marks another peak in the career of the NU icon who helped power the Bulldogs to a modern-day dynasty.
Middle blocker Sheena Toring, a Tourism graduate, expressed heartfelt gratitude in her Instagram post:
“24 and officially a college graduate! … I always try my best to contribute and engage with you guys. I hope I was able to create memories with u.”
Psychology graduate Erin Pangilinan took time to thank her professors, blockmates, and teammates for the memories built through coffee meetings and sleepless nights:
“To National University—thank you for giving me 11 amazing years to grow, not just as a student but as a student-athlete.”
The graduation comes weeks after NU defended its UAAP women’s volleyball crown, further cementing the school’s dominance in the sport. Now, the trio is ready to take on a new arena.
While their professional careers are still unfolding, Belen, Toring, and Pangilinan are among the early entries in the provisional lineup of rising talents set to chase their pro dreams in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft, happening June 8 at Novotel Manila, Araneta City.
