Casiey Dongallo is here to stay for the University of the East.

Rumors recently surfaced on social media, suggesting that Dongallo might depart the Lady Warriors after UAAP Season 86.

But after UE's huge four-set win over Adamson University, Dongallo, who finished with 28 points on 25 attacks, two blocks, and one service ace, swiftly dispelled these whispers, reaffirming her dedication to the red and white jersey she proudly wears.

"I really don't have a plan on leaving UE kasi nag-simula na kami," Dongallo told the media. "Nakikita naman 'yung progress ng UE, so bakit aalisan ko pa?"

UE interim head coach Dr. Obet Vital likewise dispelled rumors that Dongallo or any of his players are leaving the team, emphasizing as well the continued backing of Strong Group Athletics [SGA].

"I just want to clarify, SGA [and] Frank Lao is committed to UE and the girl for three years, that's his commitment. All the UE girls are not going anywhere. As a matter of fact, dadagdagan pa 'yan next year," said Vital.

"I just want to press on that so that we're clear. There's a lot of people that want to make news. They want to make news, so that's okay, let them make news but these are the facts," he added.

As the tournament progresses, it's clear that Dongallo's focus remains on helping the Lady Warriors achieve an even greater record compared to the past few seasons.

"We're hoping to win one more game para naman maging masaya lahat," said Dongallo.

While rumors may swirl, Dongallo remains grounded in her resolve, ready to continue her journey with UE, one game at a time.
