The Nxled Chameleons are determined to finally break through as they take on the defending champion PLDT High Speed Hitters in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Friday, October 31, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.

The Chameleons remain winless after four outings but showed renewed grit in their previous match, pushing the Cignal Super Spikers to five sets before bowing late

Krich Macaslang continues to hold the fort in the middle, providing much-needed presence on defense and energy for the young squad.

Spanish import Paola Martinez remains Nxled’s top scoring option, coming off a season-high 38-point outburst against the Super Spikers.

Team captain Chiara Permentilla and wing spiker Lyann De Guzman are also expected to step up as the Chameleons aim to finally notch their first win of the conference.

Despite their struggles, head coach Ettore Guidetti believes Nxled is close to turning the corner, noting the team’s improved composure and teamwork in recent matches.

However, standing in their way is a PLDT team back in full championship form. The High Speed Hitters (4-1) have regained momentum after a four-set victory over Farm Fresh.

The Nxled–PLDT showdown will cap Friday’s triple-header, with first serve set for 6:30 p.m.
