The Farm Fresh Foxies will finish in the top 3 of Pool A after fending off the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in four sets, 25-18, 25-13, 18-25, 26-24, on Friday, October 31, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.

Coming off their first loss in the conference, the Foxies made sure to get back into the win column behind the stellar outings of import Helene Rousseaux and Trisha Tubu.

Trailing 20-22 in the fourth set, Rousseaux carried Farm Fresh on her back to push them ahead after a 3-1 run.

Rizza Cruz would then put the Foxies at match point after a service ace. However, in the following play, Cruz committed a service error to extend the match.

But an attack error by Kat Tolentino once again gave Farm Fresh match point, before Rousseaux sealed the win with a cross-court kill.

Rousseaux finished with a game-high 27 points on 25 attacks and two blocks.

The win pushed Farm Fresh’s record to 4-1, holding the top spot for now in Pool A.

Choco Mucho, meanwhile, dropped to 2-2, still with a chance to secure a top 3 finish after the first round, as they face Capital1 on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
