Ced Domingo has been vital in the Akari Chargers' 2-0 start in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference, delivering back-to-back double-digit scoring outputs.
Ced Domingo is slowly but surely getting back to her top form for the Akari Chargers.
The 26-year-old middle blocker delivered one of her best performances in recent memory as the Chargers extended its perfect start in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference with a hard-earned five-set victory over the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, 25-11, 23-25, 29-27, 17-25, 15-7, on Tuesday, October 14, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Domingo, who has battled knee injuries since joining Akari, was a force on both ends with 16 points built on seven attacks, five blocks, and four service aces.
Grateful for support
Fans have quickly noticed Domingo’s form for the Chargers after their 2-0 start in the Reinforced tilt.

And for the former PVL Finals MVP, she’s just excited to be back and contributing for the team.
“I’m also so very, very, very happy na ganito ulit ‘yung nafifeel ko.
Strong connection early on
A big part of Domingo’s resurgence, she said, is the presence of new setter Mars Alba, whose fearless playmaking has unlocked more opportunities for Akari’s middles.
So, it’s very nice to have that kind of mindset sa setter.”

Now back in rhythm and playing with renewed confidence, Domingo aims to build on her strong start as Akari looks to sustain its momentum in the Conference.
Up next for the Chargers will be another tough test against the Petro Gazz Angels next Thursday, October 23, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena.
