Even without import Marlee Smith, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans managed to take down the Cignal Super Spikers for their first win in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
No import, no problem for the Choco Mucho.
The Flying Titans, playing without American spiker Marlee Smith, overpowered the Cignal Super Spikers in four sets, 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 27-25, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Monday night, October 13.
Smith, who sat out the match due to paper issues, is expected to join the team in their next match.
Without her, Choco Mucho banked on the strong outing of Thang Ponce, who finished with 32 excellent digs and 20 excellent receptions.
Choco Mucho will go for back-to-back wins against the PLDT High Speed Hitters, while Cignal looks to get back on track against the Farm Fresh Foxies.
Both games are set for Thursday, October 16, still at the Big Dome.
