Following the 2025 PVL Draft Lottery, teams are now strategizing their first-round moves in what should be a star-studded rookie class, potentially headlined by Bella Belen.
With the draft order officially locked in following the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft Lottery, all eyes now turn to what each team will do with their respective selections.
From Capital1’s franchise-shaping no. 1 pick to Creamline’s late-round opportunity, this year’s deep and dynamic rookie class offers game-changing potential at every turn.
Here’s an early look at how the first round could unfold based on team needs, prospect potential, and draft buzz heading into the Combine and final announcement of prospects.
1. Capital1 Solar Spikers
Bella Belen | Outside Hitter | National University
A generational talent and three-time UAAP MVP, Bella Belen instantly becomes the face of the franchise and the cornerstone of the Solar Spikers’ rebuild.
With the top pick secured, Capital1 will be hoping that Belen decides to push through with the Draft instead of going abroad.

2. Galeries Tower Highrisers
AC Miner | Opposite/Middle Blocker | Ateneo de Manila University
The Highrisers add athleticism and height with AC Miner, who has shown she can play either middle blocker or even an opposite hitter based on the Blue Eagles' campaign in UAAP Season 87.
Galeries Tower can go many ways with the no. 2 pick, but a Miner selection should definitely add more dynamic to the team after the Highrisers selected the equally-versatile Julia Coronel last year.
3. Farm Fresh Foxies
Alohi Robins-Hardy | Setter | VK Dukla Liberec
This could be the least-surprising pick of the PVL Draft. After a year of coaching from the sidelines, Farm Fresh finally gets its 6'1" setter and Alohi Robins-Hardy should bring international experience, size, and versatility to the Foxies core.
4. Nxled Chameleons
Jean Asis | Middle Blocker | Far Eastern University
The Chameleons secure a reliable, mobile middle blocker with a huge upside, perfect for their growing core. Jean Asis is expected to be a major piece for Nxled as the Chameleons continue their rebuild under Italian coach Ettore Guidetti.

5. ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles
Mycah Go | Outside Hitter | College of Saint Benilde
A former NCAA MVP, Mycah Go gives ZUS Coffee another scorer with poise and leadership—a strong complement to their playoff aspirations. An added advantage is her previous experience playing for head coach Jerry Yee, which should aid her transition to the pros.
6. Cignal HD Spikers
Alleiah Malaluan | Outside Hitter | De La Salle University
The HD Spikers reload with a high-IQ, versatile scorer to support their offensive depth and future-proof their wing rotation. Alleiah Malaluan didn’t have the best UAAP Season 87 for La Salle, but she could find her form under coach Shaq Delos Santos.
7. Choco Mucho Flying Titans
Tia Andaya | Setter | CSM Lugoj
Tia Andaya brings creativity and size to the setter position—ideal to share reps with alongside Mars Alba and Deanna Wong. The 5-foot-9 setter is quite unknown to many, but she has been training with Alas Pilipinas for the past few weeks.
8. Chery Tiggo Crossovers
Sheena Toring | Middle Blocker | National University
Despite limited playing time in UAAP Season 87, PVL teams already know what they can get from Sheena Toring. The former UAAP Best Middle Blocker provides size and shot-blocking potential to Chery’s middle rotation, giving the team more presence at the net.
9. PLDT High Speed Hitters
Lyann De Guzman | Outside Hitter | Ateneo de Manila University
A solid scorer and defender, Lyann De Guzman adds energy and reliability to PLDT’s wing group. She will be a solid complement for Savi Davison as the High Speed Hitters continue their push for an elusive PVL title.
10. Akari Chargers
Chenie Tagaod | Outside Hitter | Far Eastern University
Chenie Tagaod brings maturity and a two-way skill set, giving the Chargers another well-rounded weapon in their offense.
11. Petro Gazz Angels
Jules Tolentino | Setter | De La Salle University
Jules Tolentino could find herself a role with the Angels as she develops under former DLSU star setter Chie Saet. This also gives Petro Gazz more youth and height at the setter position.
12. Creamline Cool Smashers
Mayang Nuique | Opposite Hitter | Adamson University
Mayang Nuique offers depth and physicality off the bench for the Cool Smashers, with potential to grow into a rotational role. She had also hinted in a previous interview on Starting Lineup that she hopes to play for Creamline, which could be a dream come true for the former Lady Falcon.
