Kiesha Bedonia remains steadfast for the PLDT High Speed Hitters as they look ahead into the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference quarterfinals.
For the second straight game, Kiesha Bedonia stepped up to the plate for the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Coming off the bench once more, the 21-year-old spiker delivered 13 points to help the High Speed Hitters eliminate the Choco Mucho Flying Titans from quarterfinal contention, 21-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.
This was on the backs of her crucial performance in PLDT’s five-set defeat to the Petro Gazz Angels last Saturday.
For Bedonia, it’s all about repaying the trust given to her by coach Rald Ricafort and the rest of the High Speed Hitters coaching staff.
“Sakin po, ‘yung first po talaga ‘yung tiwala na binigay sakin ng coaches sa buong game and pinakita ko lang kung ano ‘yung pinagtrainingan namin and inano namin ‘yung goal namin,” Bedonia said during the post-game press conference.
The former FEU Lady Tamaraw also relished the confidence she has received over the past few games.
“Sobrang laking bagay po sakin kasi na-boost din ‘yung confidence ko and ‘yung pang wala ng pressure every game,” said Bedonia.

Ricafort, on the other hand, continues to trust his young player as they head into the quarterfinals, where they will face the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.
“Kahit nung last conference naman, siya ‘yung bunot. Siya ‘yung immediate namin eh,” said Ricafort.
“Ayaw ko rin naman na agad-agad ibigay ‘yung mabigat na pressure with starting pero kung gagana din naman agad, ‘yun naman talaga role niya. Alam niya naman ‘yun,” he added.
