Basketball is such a well-known sport in the Philippines that sometimes people don’t even need a ball to "play" it.

Case in point: Creamline Cool Smashers’ Ced Domingo and Jia De Guzman.

As the two and the rest of the Philippine women’s volleyball team prepare to battle in the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Cambodia, Domingo and De Guzman decided to joke around a bit during their training.

In an Instagram Story reposted by Choco Mucho Flying Titans' Kat Tolentino, Domingo is seen pretending to dribble and shoot an invisible basketball. De Guzman, meanwhile, joins in on the fun with a pretend euro-step that looks as smooth as her sets in volleyball.

The national team has been all out in its preparations for the SEA Games. In fact, it recently held a 15-day training camp in Japan where it faced several Japanese volleyball teams.

Domingo and De Guzman will be key players for the Filipina spikers in their quest for a podium finish in this year's SEA Games and, in the process, break an 18-year medal drought in indoor volleyball.

The women’s team, led by captain Alyssa Valdez, open its campaign on May 9 against host nation Cambodia.
