Team Liquid opened its M7 World Championship bid with a dominant win over compatriots Aurora Gaming PH in the Swiss Stage.
Team Liquid Philippines wasted no time asserting its championship intent, cruising past compatriots Aurora Gaming PH in under 17 minutes to open its M7 World Championship campaign on a high note in the Swiss Stage.
The all-Filipino showdown ended swiftly, with TLPH controlling the map from start to finish in the best-of-1 encounter, showcasing crisp execution and superior macro play to overwhelm Aurora before the latter could find its footing.
The win marks the first step in what has been dubbed Team Liquid’s “Golden Road” run—a season-long pursuit that now has only one missing piece: the M7 World Championship crown in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Leading the charge is a star-studded roster composed of Oheb, KarlTzy, Sanford, Sanji, and Jaypee.
The squad ruled the domestic scene by capturing MPL Philippines Season 16, carried its dominance to the international stage by lifting the MSC 2025 trophy in Riyadh, and capped the year by claiming the SEA Games MLBB Men’s gold medal under the SIBOL banner.
Both Filipino squads will look to make it out of the Swiss Stage and vie for the championship come the playoffs.
