RR Pogoy and TNT Tropang 5G are determined to regain control of their PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup semifinals series as they face Meralco Bolts in Game 4 on Sunday, Jan. 11.

The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Mall of Asia Arena.

Though still holding a 2–1 series lead, TNT saw its bid for a sweep derailed in Game 3, where it absorbed a 97–89 loss despite a valiant rally.

The Tropang 5G fell behind early but leaned on Pogoy’s brilliance to stay within striking distance.

The veteran guard caught fire late in the third quarter, unloading a personal 12–0 run that trimmed a double-digit deficit to 59–63 and briefly swung momentum TNT’s way.

Pogoy finished with 28 points, three rebounds, and three assists, doing everything he could to drag the Tropang 5G back into the contest.

Support, however, proved lacking.

Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser chipped in 14 points, while Rey Nambatac had 13, but TNT couldn’t string together enough stops to complete the comeback.

With Game 4 looming, TNT will once again look to Pogoy’s scoring punch—this time hoping for stronger collective execution—to restore order and push closer to a Finals return.
