The Converge FiberXers added to the NorthPort Batang Pier's suffering in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup.
Converge hit its stride in the second period en route to trouncing NorthPort, 111-92, in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig Friday, May 16.
The FiberXers thus recovered from a previous loss to Ginebra and upped their record to 5-3 while compounding the woes of the Batang Pier, who are now losers for the fifth straight time after a successful conference opener.
