3x3 sa umaga, Nazareno sa hapon.
Almond Vosotros is indefatigable. Yes we're using this big word for this small, but deadly player for the TNT Triple Giga.
He played in Leg 2 of the PBA 3x3's Third Conference at Ayala Malls Manila Bay on Monday, helping TNT reach the quarterfinals.
By Tuesday morning, the multi-conference champions fell to the Cavitex Braves in the knockout stage.
Instead of taking a rest, he took his family to Quiapo to take part in the Feast of Black Nazarene.
He was dressed in a plain white shirt, black shorts, and slippers along with maroon headgear to celebrate the feast.
"Viva Mahal na Poong Nazareno! Walang hanggang Pasasalamat! 🙏🙏" he posted on Instagram.
He had plenty to be thankful for as the PBA 3x3 scoring king and multi-conference champion with the Triple Giga.
But he wasn't the only athlete taking part in the religious celebration.
RR Garcia was also present in Quiapo on Tuesday night, as they awaited the return of the Black Nazarene to the church. It took place a day before the Phoenix Super Fuel Masters challenged the Meralco Bolts in the last stretch of the PBA Commissioner's Cup preliminaries.
Also sharing the night scenes of the crowded night was NLEX Road Warriors assistant coach Borgie Hermida.
This year's feast was especially significant, since it was the return of the procession after three years of COVID-19 restrictions.
For these athletes, the Feast of the Black Nazarene will always be an annual tradition.
