He isn’t called “Daredevil” for nothing.

Lest fans forget, Jared Dillinger earned that monicker for his devil-may-care style of play that has helped him reach elite status in the PBA.

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel forward has had a boatload of injuries to his name, but that didn’t stop from sacrificing his body on both ends of the floor. He was also a crafty playmaker and bucket-getter.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the TNT’s second overall pick in the 2008 PBA Draft himself was reminded of his “fearless spirit.”

The social media post contained a video of prime Dillinger's highlights, which included him finishing alley-oops, breaking ankles, and slashing to the paint with little regard for the defense. It was originally uploaded on TikTok by user @topher0047.

“Sometimes I be forgetting, I had such a fearless spirit, I was a F@$Kin’ dawg! Maraming salamat to the fans that remind me of these days from time to time, you guys really make me feel good about myself, that’s love,” the 6-foot-4 hooper wrote in the caption.

San Miguel Beermen’s Chris Ross commented on the said post, saying Dillinger was “a problem” during his heydays.

His close friend, Sol Mercado, agreed.

“TOUGH,” Mercado said in the comment laced with fire emojis.

With the 39-year-old in the twilight of his decorated basketball career, that fearless spirit can be seen in his various ventures outside the court, including daddy duties.
