Sina Vahedi delivered 13 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter to help the Meralco Bolts weather a late Macau Black Bears rally in the EASL.
Sina Vahedi delivered in the clutch as the Meralco Bolts edged the Macau Black Bears, 93–91, in EASL 2025 action on Saturday, December 6 at the Capital Arena in Ilagan City.
Vahedi caught fire in the fourth quarter, scoring 13 of his 23 points to secure Meralco’s third straight win and steady the team after a furious Macau rally threatened a collapse.
Justin Brownlee made his Meralco debut with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Ismael Romero added a monster 24-point, 17-rebound double-double.
The victory, however, was overshadowed by an injury scare as Rondae Hollis-Jefferson exited in the third quarter with an apparent ankle issue after posting 15 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds. Meralco improves to 3–2 in Group B and now prepares for its final group-stage matchup against the Ryukyu Golden Kings on February 11.
