The Philippines will be led by two-sport World Cup players Jaclyn Sawicki and Katrina Guillou in the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup, which will be held in the country.
The official squad lists for the 2025 FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup have been released, with home team Philippines bannered by two-sport World Cup players Jaclyn Sawicki and Katrina Guillou, with their campaign beginning next Friday, November 21.
The Filipina5 will be led by head coach Rafael Merino in the first-ever World Cup for Women’s Futsal, where the 63rd-ranked Philippines will face off against Poland, Morocco, and Argentina in Group A action.
Sawicki and Guillou will be joined by fellow Filipinas teammates Shai del Campo, Bella Flanigan, Dionesa Tolentin, and Charisa Lemoran.
Youngster Samantha Hughes and Kayla Santiago will be the team’s goalkeepers.
PFF Women’s League players Lanie Ortillo, Isabella Bandoja, and Rocelle Mendano are also included in the final squad list.
Included as well are foreign-based players Cathrine Graversen and Judy Connolly.

The Philippines opens its historic bid in the World Cup when they face Poland on November 21. They then face Morocco on Monday, November 24.
The Filipina5 round up their group stage campaign against Argentina on November 27.
All matches will be played at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
