For the second straight time since scoring 19 against Busan, Arvin Tolentino saw limited action and didn’t reach double figures for the SK Knights in the KBL.
Arvin Tolentino continued to see limited action, but the Seoul SK Knights sustained their red-hot play with a 75-67 win over Seoul Samsung Thunders in the Korean Basketball League at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium Sunday, Nov. 9.
Tolentino played sparingly anew, producing eight points, two rebounds, and assist and a steal in a little over 10 minutes for the Knights.

The Filipino import also logged less than 15 minutes when his team bested Rhenz Abando and league-leaader Anyang, 68-66, just two days ago.
Still, Tolentino’s Knights picked up a third straight victory to improve to a 7-7 slate.
After a hot start, the Knights sputtered in the third period, then did just enough in the end.
Anyang had Jamil Warney to thank for the streak, as he got the better of counterpart Andrew Nicholson with his 32 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.
Nicholson, who reinforced guest team Bay Area in the PBA Season 47 Commissioner’s Cup, paced the Thunders with 31 points and five rebounds.

Like most sportswriters, Jan Ballesteros once dreamed of becoming a professional hooper. But he learned the hard way that it’s not for everyone.
He continues to be involved in the sport he loves, but this time as a member of the PBA Press Corps. Aside from primarily covering the PBA, he is also assigned to cover Gilas Pilipinas.
