In the battle between Filipino imports in the Korean Basketball League, Kevin Quiambao prevailed over JD Cagulangan as the Goyang Sono Skygunners dominated Suwon KT.
Kevin Quiambao got the better of fellow Filipino import JD Cagulangan as the Goyang Sono Skygunners drubbed Suwon KT, 85-63, in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) on Sunday, Nov. 9.
Quiambao was all over the court, churning out 22 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
In contrast, Cagulangan only had 10 points and three assists in over 20 minutes of play for the Sonicboom at home.
Nathan Knight also had 22 points for the Skygunners, who outgunned their foes in the second half before delivering another 23-13 finishing kick in the final frame.
Still, the Skygunners continue to languish near the cellar at no. 9 with a 4-9 win-loss record.
Meanwhile, Suwon KT holds a 7-6 card with three straight losses.
Ha Yoon-ki paced the Sonicboom with 12 points.
