Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Clippers made light work of the Loong Lions, 142-95, as they trumped the Chinese team in a blowout at the Frontwave Arena in California.
The Clippers were in total control in the game and led by as much as 50 points.
Kawhi Leonard led all scorers for LA with 18 points and two assists in 17:49 minutes of play.
In the other games, the Chicago Bulls rode the energy from an all-around game from Josh Giddey en route to a 119-112 conquest of the Cleveland Cavaliers at the United Center in Illinois, holding off their foes.
Giddey had 14 points, seven boards, and six dimes as the Bulls dominated the inside game with 58 points in the paint.
The OKC Thunder, for their part, beat the Charlotte Hornets, 122-116, behind an efficient Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who finished with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
AJ Green also helped the Milwaukee Bucks improve to 2-0 after beating the Detroit Pistons, 117-111, as he finished with 22 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
