The heat is turning up as the FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship enters its decisive Day 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Thursday, Sept. 17.

With Pool A still wide open, the battle for the top two spots is about to reach a boiling point, and all eyes are on Brazil as they chase a perfect group-stage record.

The fate of four teams — Tunisia, Egypt, Iran, and the Philippines, all tied at 1-1 — will be decided in a series of do-or-die matches.

Egypt and Tunisia will face off at 1:30 p.m., while the Philippines takes on Iran in the evening’s main event at 5:30 p.m.

Should Serbia falter against Brazil and Czechia secure a victory over China at 9:00 p.m. later that day, Serbia’s title hopes would come to a swift end.
