Boxing legends Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather will meet in a blockbuster exhibition fight in spring 2026.
Boxing fans are in for an unexpected spectacle as heavyweight icon Mike Tyson and undefeated great Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. have signed on for an exhibition bout scheduled for spring 2026, as confirmed by promoters CSI Sports/Fight Sports.
Tyson carved out a 50-7 professional record with 44 knockouts, terrorizing the heavyweight division in the late 1980s and 1990s.
His recent outing, however, was a forgettable return last November when he suffered a lopsided defeat to YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul before more than 70,000 fans in Texas.

Mayweather, meanwhile, walked away from professional boxing in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record and world titles across five weight classes.
He has since stayed active in exhibitions, the latest being a win over John Gotti III in Mexico in August 2024.

Tyson himself admitted to being in disbelief at the matchup’s fruition.
“When CSI came to me about stepping in the ring with Floyd Mayweather I thought, ‘No way this happens,’” Tyson said in a statement released by CSI Sports. “But Floyd said yes.”
“This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen. However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable, and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets.”
No exact date or venue has been confirmed, but the announcement alone is enough to send shockwaves across the boxing world.
