Cignal Super Spikers will move forward without Steven Rotter and Vince Maglinao after confirming the departures of the two key contributors ahead of the 2026 Spikers’ Turf season.

Rotter returned to the Philippines in October 2024 after signing with the Super Spikers and quickly became an integral part of head coach Dexter Clamor’s system.

"From powerful spikes to solid blocks and that ever-present bright smile, you brought incredible energy to the Cignal Super Spikers. Best of luck on your next journey, Steven Rotter," the team wrote in its social media post.

The Fil-Am spiker played a central role in Cignal’s title run in the 2025 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference, where he was named Finals MVP.

His strong club performances also earned him another call-up to the Alas Pilipinas Men pool, though complications ultimately prevented him from suiting up in the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship.

Maglinao, meanwhile, is stepping away from volleyball after heading into flight school.

"The Cignal Super Spikers thank outside hitter Vince Maglinao for the hustle, heart, and hard work he brought to every training and match," the post wrote. "He will be stepping away from volleyball as he pursues flight school. All the best, Vince."

The 24-year-old spiker joined Cignal in June 2025 to bolster the Super Spikers’ Invitational Conference campaign, making the jump to the pro ranks following a decorated collegiate career with De La Salle Green Spikers.

With Cignal, Maglinao was often asked to shift between spiker and libero roles, depending on the team's needs.

He saved one of his best performances for last, delivering 12 points and 16 excellent receptions in the bronze medal match against the Savouge Spin Doctors.
