The 2025 PVL offseason gathered pace in December, with a series of exits and roster changes signaling a period of transition across multiple teams in the league.

Nxled caps off its Petro Gazz haul with a powerhouse group of Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips, Myla Pablo, and Jules Tolentino.

Nxled gets five more with Tiamzon, Adolfo, Pineda, Tempiatura, Cagande
Nxled the most out of the Petro Gazz free agents, signing wings Nicole Tiamzon and AA Adolfo.
The Chameleons also improve their defense with liberos Bang Pineda and Jellie Tempiatura.
Former Chery Tiggo Crossover Joyme Cagande also helps Nxled with its playmaking.
January 13
Nxled makes move with Sabete, Marano, Musa, Cheng, Ogunsanya
The Chameleons have made their move, picking up veteran Aby Marano from the disbanded Chery Tiggo.
They also sign Jonah Sabete, Ranya Musa, and Djanel Cheng from Petro Gazz, as well as Aduke Ogunsanya from Choco Mucho.
Highrisers continue retool with Samonte, Pascual, Puzon, Mangulabnan
Galeries Tower is not done with its revamp, gaining spikers Jules Samonte from Chery Tiggo and Gayle Pascual from ZUS Coffee, as well as two-time NCAA Best Setter Puzon from Lyceum, and playmaker Mangulabnan from Nxled.
January 12
Galeries Tower scores big with Pontillas, Alvarez, Ancheta
The Highrisers continue their massive revamp, scoring with veteran spiker Aiza Maizo-Pontillas.
They also got outside hitter Shola Alvarez and middle blocker Shar Ancheta.
January 11
More for Galeries Tower with Deloria, Victoria, Verzosa
The Highrisers roll with outside hitters Erika Deloria and Cams Victoria, as well as libero Dolly Verzosa.
January 10
Galeries Tower continues rebuild with Raagas, Barbon, Ebon, Angeles
Raagas quickly found a new home with the rebuilding Galeries Tower.
The Highrisers also picked up Petro Gazz libero Blove Barbon, Nxled spiker Lycha Ebon, Shola Alvarez, Shar Ancheta, Erika Deloria, and ZUS Coffee defensive specialist Julia Angeles.
Akari bids goodbye to Raagas, signs Soreno, Carandang, Abil
Erika Raagas is also a free agent, parting ways with the Akari Chargers after three years.
The Chargers though bolster their ranks with former Chery Tiggo Crossovers Jyne Soreño and Cza Carandang, along with former Cignal Super Spiker Judith Abil.
Petro Gazz takes leave of absence
The remaining Angels are now considered free agents, after Petro Gazz announced it would step away from PVL competition after two championships in 2025.

January 9
Cignal picks up Ivy Perez
The Cignal Super Spikers have made their move, signing setter Ivy Perez from the Galeries Tower Highrisers.

SGA signs Koji Tsuzurabara, Kungfu Reyes
The Strong Group Athletics completed their haul by signing former PVL champion coach Koji Tsuzurabara, who last led the Petro Gazz Angels to the title.
They also signed up former Chery Tiggo head coach Kungfu Reyes.

Galeries Tower taps Esteban
Starting anew, the Galeries Tower Highrisers tapped Aying Esteban as their new head coach.
Jean Asis, Winnie Bedana, Roselle Baliton, and Julia Coronel remain with the Highrisers.

Galeries Tower starts major overhaul by releasing majority of staff, players
The Galeries Tower Highrisers are knocking down for a complete rebuild, letting go of head coach Godfrey Okumu and staff John Subiere, Glen Marc Toledo, Miguel Vinarao, and Angelo dela Paz.
They also parted ways with 13 players: Dodee Batindaan, Juliet Catindig, Fhen Emnas, Carly Hernandez, Ysa Jimenez, Andrea Marzan, Dimdim Pacres, Audrey Paran, France Ronquillo, Lia Pelaga, Ivy Perez, Marian Andal, and Shannen Palec.
Jimenez and Ronquillo were picked up by Capital1.
January 8
Rhea Villarete retires from volleyball
After parting ways with Creamline, Rhea Dimaculangan-Villarete makes it official and closes the chapter of her competitive volleyball career.

SGA picks up Ara Galang
The Strong Group Athletics capped its offseason haul with star spiker Ara Galang from the disbanded Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

Capital1 completes haul with Cherry Nunag, Pauline Gaston, Ysa Jimenez, and France Ronquillo
The Capital1 Solar Spikers finished its offseason haul by getting Pauline Gaston from the disbanded Cherry Tiggo Crossovers, Cherry Nunag from the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, as well as Ysa Jimenez and France Ronquillo from the Galeries Tower Highrisers.

Creamline parts ways with Rhea Villarete

The Capital1 Solar Spikers have made their move, signing Shaya Adorador and Jasmine Nabor from the disbanded Chery Tiggo Crossovers. They also picked up Akari's former middle blocker Ezra Madrigal and Nxled's Rachel Jorvina.

Nxled exodus: Jaja Maraguinot, Lycha Ebon, Rachel Jorvina, Jai Atienza, Maji Mangulabnan
The Nxled Chameleons shake up their roster ahead of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, parting ways with Jaja Maraguinot, Lycha Ebon, Rachel Jorvina, Jaila Atienza, and Maji Mangulabnan.
Maraguinot, Ebon, and Jorvina were initially part of the Akari Chargers before being transferred to the sister team.

After exiting the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, libero Bia General has signed up with the Strong Group Athletics.
Michelle Morente exits Creamline
Meanwhile, Michelle Morente will be seeking a new home after her short stint with the Creamline Cool Smashers. She did get a sweet ending though, vowing forever with partner and the-teammate Pangs Panaga.

Judith Abil parts ways with Cignal
Judith Abil is back in the free agent market, as the Cignal Super Spikers announced the departure of the spiker. The 27-year-old was signed by Cignal in July 2024 after she was released by the Nxled Chameleons. The former University of the East Lady Warriors standout was initially deployed as a libero before eventually returning to her natural position as an outside hitter.
Julia Angeles exits ZUS Coffee
Meanwhile, Julia Angeles was also released by the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles on Friday. She was the primary libero for ZUS Coffee before the entry of Alyssa Eroa, seeing limited action in their silver medal-finish in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Royse Tubino signs with Strong Group Athletics
Veteran spiker Royse Tubino signed with Strong Group Athletics following her exit from Choco Mucho.
Tubino will join either the Farm Fresh Foxies or ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles.

Eya Laure, Alina Bicar, Caitlin Viray, Jaila Atienza head to Choco Mucho
At the stroke of midnight, the Flying Titans announced their major haul for 2026 led by superstar spiker Eya Laure, who makes her PVL return after her contract dispute with Chery Tiggo.
She will be joined by setter Alina Bicar, opposite Caitlin Viray, and middle blocker Jaila Atienza.

Rizza Mandapat exits Creamline; Choco Mucho reshuffles roster
Another longtime Creamline figure, Rizza Mandapat, moved on after eight years with the Cool Smashers, marking the end of an era for one of the league’s most successful cores.
On the same day, Choco Mucho announced multiple departures as part of a roster reset.
Royse Tubino, Cherry Nunag, Aduke Ogunsanya, and Bia General all exited the Flying Titans as the team looked to reset after several difficult conferences.

After eight seasons, Pau Soriano officially said goodbye to the Creamline Cool Smashers.
One of the franchise’s original pieces, Soriano was part of multiple championship runs and remained a constant presence through Creamline’s rise as a PVL powerhouse.

Chery Tiggo Crossovers disband
Chery Tiggo officially announced its disbandment, bringing an end to one of the league’s more notable franchises.
The move closed a chapter that included a 2021 Open Conference championship and several deep playoff runs, leaving players and staff to explore new opportunities ahead of the next PVL season.
